Pineapple Express – The Difference Between a Pineapple Express and a Tornado

pineapple express

GreenSociety is a sativa-leaning hybrid strain that delivers upbeat euphoria and energy. Its parent strains (Trainwreck and Hawaiian) give this weed intense cerebral effects that are balanced by a calming body buzz. But the real star of this fruity hybrid is its unbeatable flavor, which is fueled by the terpenes myrcene and alpha-pinene.

In early December 2014, a large storm known as an “Atmospheric River” hit the West Coast. This massive weather system was infamous for causing a number of devastating events, including record flooding and heavy snowfall. In Los Angeles, this storm even caused a rare tornado, which is sometimes referred to as the “Pineapple Express” thanks to James Franco and Seth Rogen’s popular film of the same name.

While it may be tempting to joke about this strangely-named storm, these type of severe weather events can indeed be life-threatening. For that reason, it is important to know the difference between a Pineapple Express and a tornado, as well as how to prepare for both of them.

Effects:

Pineapple Express has a unique citrus and pine aroma that transforms into a sweet pineapple flavor when smoked. This complex terpene profile is rounded out by earthy notes and an abundance of Beta-Caryophyllene, a molecule that binds to CB2 receptors and produces mood-boosting and anti-inflammatory effects.

This is a fairly potent strain that can deliver a rush of euphoria and creativity within the first couple of hours after consumption. The high lasts for a good two to three hours, which can be perfect for daytime activities or a relaxing nighttime sesh. Like many other potent sativa strains, this one can induce dry mouth and eyes, so it is recommended to drink plenty of water while smoking.

mushroom shop vancouver

In the midst of mushroom shop vancouver troubled downtown junkie district, a one-of-a-kind shop calls itself Medicinal Mushroom Dispensary and sells mushrooms, coca leaf (the plant from which cocaine is made); kratom (a stimulant extracted from a Southeast Asian evergreen tree); peyote (a cactus that contains the hallucinogen mescaline); and LSD, or acid. These substances are all illegal in Canada, and the shop is one of nine that have opened over the past two years and still openly sell them in defiance of government policy.

The Fungus Frontier: Exploring Vancouver’s Top Mushroom Shops and Cultivating a Mycophile Lifestyle

The shop carries dried psilocybin mushrooms, infused psilocybin-based teas and chocolates, and a curated selection of functional mushroom products, like powders, shake and coffee mixes, and tinctures from reishi, lion’s mane, and cordyceps. It also carries an array of books on the subject, including “The Psychedelic Explorer’s Guide,” by David Paul Kauffman, and offers consultations to help new users navigate their experience.

Larsen isn’t new to pushing boundaries; he ran one of Vancouver’s early cannabis dispensaries, which the city forced him to close in 2015 after he began selling psilocybin-based psychedelics and other drugs. But he believes his shop and others like it will spur the federal government to legalize psilocybin, which is currently a Schedule III drug alongside heroin and methamphetamine in Canada.

Health Canada has started granting legal exemptions for the drug in recent years, allowing people nearing end of life to use it and health practitioners to be trained in guiding patients through therapeutic trips. But it won’t be long before natural substances like psilocybin and peyote gain fully decriminalized or even legal status in Canada, too.

Guides & Advice For SIPPs

Guides & Advice For SIPPs

A self-invested personal SIPP Advice (SIPP) allows you to take full control and responsibility for how you invest your pension savings. They’re often used to consolidate multiple workplace pension schemes or pension pots from previous jobs and are also suitable for those who want greater flexibility with how their money can be invested in retirement.

Compared to more traditional pension options, such as a standard Personal Pension or ISA, a SIPP provides greater scope for investment in a wide range of assets including funds, shares, trusts, property and commercial property. It’s also possible to run a SIPP alongside your workplace pension, which can provide the added benefit of employer contributions.

SIPPs Unveiled: A Comprehensive Guide to Self-Invested Personal Pensions

It’s important to remember that SIPPs are complex products with fees and charges which can add up. They’re also not right for everyone – you can get many of the benefits of a SIPP from a basic personal pension, which may be lower in charges and simpler to administer.

It’s worth remembering that you can withdraw the money in your SIPP in retirement – though how much of this you can do and what option you choose will depend on how old you are when you retire. You’ll then be able to draw an income from your investments in the same way as you would from a basic personal pension, or use it to buy an annuity. The latter is an increasingly popular choice, but it comes with its own costs and you’ll need to shop around.

| Blog

The insurance industry has career opportunities across a number of specialized fields, including agents, brokers and independent adjusters. All of these roles are governed by provincial government insurance councils that govern the licensing, professional competence, ethical conduct and financial obligations of insurance professionals within their jurisdiction. Actuaries also require a series of examinations and a licensing process in order to work in the profession. This link https://courses.pnclearning.com/collections/ontario

Mastering the Art of Renewal: Navigating LLQP CE Credit Requirements with Ease

In order to become a licensed insurance broker in Ontario, you will need to pass the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) exam. This exam can be taken online or in-person, and you will be notified of your results within two weeks. If you do not pass, you can write the exam again within 8 months of your first failed attempt. The exam consists of 110 questions, and you must score at least 75% to pass. You can prepare for the exam through in-person virtual classes or study kits offered by RIBO and the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Once you have passed the RIBO exam, you will need to be sponsored by a licenced insurer in order to become a general insurance broker. Your sponsoring insurer will verify that you meet all the requirements to apply for a licence, and will submit your application to FSRA.

If you wish to advance your career in the industry, you can pursue a Level 2 licence, which will allow you to take on managerial duties at a brokerage. To attain this, you will need to pass the Level 1 exam and additional educational courses, such as those outlined by the Insurance Council of Manitoba or Red River College’s General Insurance Certificate program or CAIB 3 and other courses available through the Insurance Institute of Canada.
